| ABOUT WORLDWIDE PRODUCE Your Midwest Worldwide
Produce was founded in 1989 by La Preferida, the nationally respected
Mexican food company. The original location of Worldwide Produce was in
Chicago's famous South Water Market, the city's main source of fresh
produce for almost a century. Initially, Worldwide Produce was intended to
serve the needs of the area's Hispanic and Asian population, selling
mainly to the many specialty delis and small stores in those communities. |

Because of
veteran knowledgeable buyers actually on the scene at the various foreign
sources of the company's specialty product lines, Worldwide Produce
acquires only the very best produce. These experienced and capable
"eyes and ears," now able to communicate electronically, give
our company a tremendous competitive edge over other vendors that do not
have this kind of on-site expertise. |
